Meet Dr. Rick Parisien, Chiropractor

Dr. Rick is an evidence-based chiropractor passionate about helping people move better, feel better, and become the best version of themselves. His treatment approach blends education, chiropractic adjustments, acupuncture, soft tissue therapy, and rehabilitative exercise. Whether you’re experiencing acute pain, managing a chronic condition, or aiming to optimize performance, Dr. Rick works with each patient to create meaningful, lasting change in how they move and live.

Born and raised outside of Cornwall, Ontario, Rick grew up deeply involved in sports and physical activity. While he experienced the benefits of an active lifestyle, he also faced the setbacks of multiple sport-related injuries. These early challenges sparked his drive to help others overcome similar obstacles. He went on to earn an Honours Bachelor of Physical and Health Education at Queen’s University, where he was a member of the men’s varsity basketball team. Following his undergraduate studies, he pursued his Doctor of Chiropractic degree in Toronto. During those four years, he remained closely connected to the sports community—working as a baseline concussion-testing specialist at Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital, serving as medical staff for the York Lions and Scarborough Thunder OVFL football clubs, and training clients as a personal trainer at Shock Fitness in Muskoka.

Since moving to Saint John, Dr. Rick has built a thriving practice and continues to stay actively involved in his community. Early in his career, he was recognized with the New Graduate Award from the New Brunswick Chiropractic Association. Today, he serves on the board of Uptown Saint John, sits on the Quality Assurance Committee for the New Brunswick Chiropractic Association, and volunteers his time providing sideline coverage for youth athletics. Outside the clinic, Dr. Rick enjoys staying active and, above all, spending quality time with his family.
