What is massage therapy?

Modern massage techniques can be traced back to the 1700s making it one of the oldest forms of complimentary healthcare! Today’s Massage Therapists use their knowledge of anatomy and physiology to combine traditional Swedish and modern Massage Therapy techniques with exercise and other therapies to treat their clients.

Registered Massage Therapists

A registered massage therapist is someone who has received a diploma from an accredited school of massage therapy and has successfully completed all the requirements and registration examinations, offered by the College of Massage Therapists of New Brunswick.

The massage therapists at Station Street Health strive to help patients feel a general sense of well-being through manual therapy. Whether it’s daily stress, chronic pain, a sports injury or a motor vehicle accident that’s affecting you, they create a treatment plan designed to get you where you physically want to be. They are pain detectives, that use therapeutic massage to help you live a life free of pain.
