Monique LeBlanc, BSC, PT

Book with Me!

Growing up Monique has always been passionate about sports and staying active. Being an athlete led to injuries which meant spending a lot of time in physiotherapy clinics—where the recovery process became just as inspiring as the sport itself. Seeing how rehab could restore strength, function, and confidence motivated Monique to become a Physiotherapist. She graduated from the University of New Brunswick with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology where she volunteered in the Canadian Sports Centre Atlantic gym working with a variety of athletes. Monique then went on to pursue a Master of Physical Therapy from the University of Alberta while spending time as a trainer at rugby tournaments.

Today, Monique brings that same passion for sport and movement into every treatment plan, helping patients recover from injury, prevent future issues, and reach their full potential. Whether working with athletes or supporting everyday mobility, Monique combines evidence-based practice, personalized exercise programming, and patient education to promote long-term success. She can use different techniques such as manual therapy, dry needling, etc. to help with your recovery. Monique also has a passion for pelvic floor physiotherapy after seeing how common pelvic health concerns are, and how often they go untreated. She developed a passion for supporting individuals through some of the most personal and impactful aspects of their health by becoming a certified pelvic floor therapist.

Outside the clinic, Monique stays active through sports (soccer, softball and football) and loves connecting with her community through sport and wellness initiatives. She loves to be outside hiking and exploring new places (with her poodle by her side).
